During early recovery, therapy can be a useful tool to redefine the meaning of problematic behaviors and substances in your life, as well identify triggers, explore underlying emotions, and uncover healthier methods of self-soothing. In addition to helping individuals through the early recovery process, I have also collaborated with those seeking to deepen their long-term recovery process. Addiction can place tremendous added stress on individuals, couples, and families. However, the decision to reach out is the clearest sign that you are on the road to recovery.
