Approach

As therapists, people come to us seeking help, support, and answers. The process of finding these answers can be a wonderful journey that I feel honored to walk on with my clients every day.  Since I believe that therapy should be collaborative, I feel one of my key roles as a therapist is to help you look within and access your deep-gut, intuitive voice, which is often dimmed by the roar of the world around us.  I also hope to help you uncover hidden strengths, while seeking out new and empowered solutions.  I work from a strengths-based, client-centered approach and draw from treatment modals like humanistic, relational, solution-focused, and narrative therapies, as well as using my cognitive behavioral training as a toolkit for reducing pain during tough times.
